For students done with application portals

You're not underqualified. You're unseen.

GEN-MAX finds the small firms that never advertise internships — the ones where the founder still reads the inbox — and emails them from your own Gmail, using your own script or one the AI writes from your CV.

Reading Marlow & Hart's website…
Marlow & Hart Advisory Boutique M&A
Why we picked this firm Six-partner advisory with no grad scheme — a good email goes straight to the deal team, not an HR filter.

The portal saw 900 CVs.
The firm next door saw none.

Every big grad scheme is a lottery with hundreds of tickets. Meanwhile, thousands of brilliant small firms — the ones that actually reply — never post an internship anywhere. That's where you get seen.

How it works

Three steps. About ten minutes.

Step 1

Say who you want to work for — in plain English

No filters, no databases to learn. Type it like a text. GEN-MAX searches the live web and maps, reads each firm's actual website, and keeps only the ones that genuinely match — with the reason attached.

Nice brief. I'll search Manchester for boutique M&A advisory firms, read their sites, and skip anything corporate. Ready when you are — Start search?
Typical search: 20 matched firms in a few minutes
Step 2 — why small firms reply

At a firm of six, there is no HR filter

No portal. No applicant tracking system. No screening round. The address on their contact page goes to the person who'd actually decide — which is why replies come back from founders and partners themselves, not a recruitment team. Reaching them is the entire game, and it's what GEN-MAX is built to do at scale.

✓ On Pro, we'll also find the founder by name where we can

early tester · reached a founder directly
“I sent a handful through GEN-MAX and a founder wrote back within a couple of days — no portal, no ghosting, just a reply. Ended up going in for a chat.”
A real reply from one of our early testers. At firms this size, the founder is the one reading the inbox.
Step 3 — you stay in control

Write it yourself, or let the AI write it

Write your own script and GEN-MAX personalises it per firm — or let the AI write it from your CV from scratch. Either way you see every email before it sends, and every claim is fact-checked against your real CV. It goes from your own Gmail, one at a time, like a person. Because it is one.

SubjectSecond-year economist keen on your consumer deals work
Dear Ms Hart,

I saw Marlow & Hart specialises in lower-mid-market consumer deals — that's exactly the space I studied in my retail M&A dissertation at Manchester. I'd love to spend a few summer weeks learning how a six-person team actually runs a deal…
🔍 Fact-checked before sending — highlighted lines come from your CV and the firm's own website. Nothing invented.
The guarantee

Built so you can check our work

Most tools ask you to trust them. GEN-MAX shows receipts — every firm carries the reason it was chosen, and every dead email address gives you the credit back, automatically.

Dead address? You don't pay.

If a firm's email bounces — before or after sending — the credit returns to your balance on its own. You'll see it in your credit history.

Every firm explains itself.

No mystery lists. Expand any firm and read exactly why it matched what you asked for — quoted from its own website, not a database row.

Fair questions

Asked by every student, answered honestly

Isn't this just spam?+

No — and the design makes it impossible to be. Each email is written individually from your CV and that firm's own website, fact-checked, and sent one at a time from your personal Gmail with natural gaps. It's the digital version of walking in with your CV — to a firm chosen because it genuinely fits.

Do small firms even take interns?+

Constantly — they just never advertise it. A six-person firm doesn't run a grad scheme; they take the occasional student who impresses them directly. That's precisely why your email lands: you might be the only applicant they hear from all term.

Who actually receives my email?+

The real contact address on the firm's own website — and at a small firm, that's read by the founder or a partner, not a recruitment team. That's the whole reason this works. On Pro, where a founder's direct address can also be found, they get a personal copy as well (Beta); when it can't, the firm's inbox still gets your email marked for their attention. Either way, every firm on your list is reached.

What if an address is dead?+

Then you don't pay for it. Bounced or non-existent addresses are detected — before sending where possible, and from the bounce afterwards — and the credit is returned to your balance automatically. It appears in your credit history, so you can check.

Does the AI write my emails, or do I?+

Whichever you prefer. Write your own script once and GEN-MAX personalises it for each firm, or let the AI draft one from your CV and edit it however you like. You can keep several scripts and pick per campaign — and you review every email before anything sends.

Will it make things up about me?+

It can't. Every email is checked against your actual CV before sending, and anything unsupported is rejected and rewritten. You can view exactly which facts from your CV the emails are allowed to use.

Be the one email
they actually read.
